Any democracy is balanced by the three pillars of governance namely, the executive, the legislative and the judiciary, with media being the 4th pillar of democracy, bringing the accountability to the checks and balances of any government; the erroneous use of any of the four pillars can result in the toppling or shattering of democracy — with the remains of right and wrong mandate. Year 2024 remains auspicious to the virtue of ‘rightful governance' as more than 60 countries across the globe are scheduled to go for elections and choose their 'right government'.

India, the largest democracy too Spectate the festival of democracy with 968 million people out of 1.4 billion population eligible to vote, make this mandate for the nation. Elections in India will not only just decide the positioning of India and Indian subcontinent either in tracing it's rise in global politics but also will decide the fate of globe and with the esteemed leadership of India under the Modi regime has proved it right and made it more clear that what value a right mandate can bring.

In 2024, when Bharat was engaged in celebrating the festival of democracy, with the result announced on 4th June 2024 and BJP vowing for its 3rd consecutive term; The before(s) and after(s) of the election have raised the certain bars of menaces, digging in it, a sinister plot of foreign figures get expose and the present global dynamics and Bharat's contribution in the global economy; Make it more just for the foreign fathers controlling and setting the governments of nation to put an eye over the Indian elections, and settle the government which could benefit their agenda.

The foreign fathers masquerading under the veil of 'Free Press' and 'Academia' viciously attempted to influence the voting pattern of the Bharatiya voters.

French Media’s ‘je vais carte blanche’

French Media’s, deliberate effort accompanying it's western ‘Free Press’ allies to attack the democratic institutions of India under the multitudinous veil of press, academia and activists plunges an agenda that undermines the largest democratic process in the world.

This unusual high interest of French media in the Indian election, opinionating it with the ideologically tinted words and revolving around a particular narrative raises suspicion. A profusion of articles and opinion columns could be seen coming out of the portals namely — La Soir , La Croix, La Temps , Reporterre and Radio France Internationale (RFI) moulding a criticism-core wall against the social interest of Bhartiya voters.

The France's oldest, influential and widely circulated newspaper covering the length and breadth of the France, ‘Le Monde' who was peddling the anti Bharat narrative through it's columns. La Monde alone published dozens of articles with contumely charged narratives, revolving around manufactured themes of denunciation – ‘Islamophobia in India’, ‘undemocratic nature of India’ , ‘stigmatization of Muslims', ‘growing authoritarianism'. France Media’s je vais carte blanche (fallacious use of freedom), towards India’s democratic procedure suggests a larger conspiracy which may even go beyond ‘setting and controlling’ a government.

Christophe Jaffrelot : Foreign Father with a face

Christophe Jaffrelot, a prominent French Indologist and political scientist, is a central figure of anti Bharat narrative, disseminating false narrative against social fabric of Bharat. Jaffrelot’s influence was particularly evident in western and french media outlets. As Jaffrelot, was the leading central figure of the propaganda highly praised and quoted by Indian media houses , with a leftist – Islamist nose : Indian Express, the wire.

Selling Fallacies

INDI opposition’s highly celebrated ‘caste census’ was knitted by the Jaffrelot’s effort. Bringing the topic in public discourse, Jaffrelot in 2021 crafted a report advocating for a caste census, he also subsequently wrote articles in public media following the caste census’s need.

In 2022, Nalin Mehta, (political scientist, journalist, and writer) deconstructed the report and highlighted the points that provide glaring evidence of how a twisted version of the ground reality has been presented on the topic by them. From churning out wrong data to misinterpretation and misrepresentation of castes to producing misleading data, Mehta points out how the report raises skepticism over such supposedly academic research.

Mehta accuses them of selective reporting to suit a particular narrative of the ruling party promoting the upper caste, and when presented with data contrary to their claim, (of Members of Parliament) the dup declares that the number of MPs doesn’t matter. This despite the fact that Jaffrelot and Verniers have published entire peer-reviewed articles in global academic journals to make the claim of upper-caste dominance increasing in BJP structures, fundamentally based only on data points and charts from the same research. On MPs alone.

Jaffrelot attempts to spread false narrative about the increasing ‘upper caste dominance’ within the BJP. The report’s deconstruction claims that Jaffrelot’s theory propagates through peer – reviewed publications, was part of a deliberate propaganda effort to open societal fault lines in India.
