The frustration of Congress’s loss of entitlement in the last few years has been so drastic and beyond repair, that this unacceptance of their political agenda in India has propelled them to look for foreign lime light of audiences. In the last nine years, there were 22 controversial foreign trips of Rahul Gandhi, where he could be found blatantly attacking on the luminous visage of Bharat.

Nevertheless trying to steal spotlight from the nation’s rich history and values showcased at the remarkable event of G20 summit, the Congress Prince left for his Europe trip and landed in Brussels on 7 September to do what he does best: score self goals.

He was at Paris, France on 8th – 9th September ; The Hague, Netherlands on the 10th and 11th September, and finally Oslo, Norway, on 11th-12th September.

Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to meet EU Parliamentarians in the afternoon, then ‘civil society’ in the evening followed by a press conference and a ‘diaspora meet’ later.

Rahul Gandhi meets Anti Bharat lobby

At Brussels, Rahul Gandhi enthusiastically met MEP Pierre Larrouturou and MEP Alviina Alametsa who were behind the Anti India resolution passed in EU parliament in July over the Manipur issue, the resolution was seeking to threaten the sovereignty of India.

Larrouturou has even aimed to target PM Modi’s France visit (July 2023) through his derogatory approach. Pierre Larrouturou is the same MEP who had shared a post from his X handle last year to support Alt News cofounder Mohammed Zubair who was arrested at that time for spreading fake news and stirring communal violence. Pierre Larrouturou is also a board member of the Spinelli Group which is funded by George Soros who has openly expressed his wish to topple the Modi government in India.

Alviina Alametsa has been a vocal anti-India campaigner in Europe. In January this year, she participated in a discussion with Prashant Bhushan and Shahrukh Alam, hosted by The London Story, an organization that has been linked to ISI. She has been relentless in her campaigning against India, writing columns, lobbying, and campaigning against Indian interests in the EU. In January 2021, she wrote an article in the EU Observer calling for EU’s support for interfering in the ‘human rights’ situation in India.

Rahul Gandhi was also seen with anti-India Italian leftist politician Fabio Massimo Castaldo, who is a former member of European Parliament ISI

Rahul Gandhi and His Anti Bharat ties

All foreign trips that Rahul Gandhi undertakes end up becoming insult to India. Rahul Gandhi’s colonial mindset can always been seen asking foreign powers to interfere in India’s democracy and sovereignty. Rahul Gandhi’s speeches on foreign soil follow a recurring theme. His presentations rest on a set of tautologies -unsubstantiated claims about the throttling of freedom of speech, degradation of democratic institutions, economic deprivation, condition of the minorities, etc. The instances of Rahul Gandhi seeking ‘foreign interference’ for his political gain in India are numerous. He has started declaring to global Leftists that India is a country deep in chaos, where democracy is declining and only he can restore it.

Dilemma of Confusions : Congress, Democracy and Free Speech

Rahul Gandhi frequently claims that freedom of the press and speech is throttled in India under PM Modi. While such broad claims are without merit, Rahul Gandhi also forgets that his great- grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru introduced the First Amendment Act (1951) to India’s Constitution, limiting freedom of speech and expression. This Act has been used by many successive governments, including Jawaharlal Nehru, to ban books and imprison journalists and ordinary citizens for criticizing politicians.

Indira Gandhi imposed a 21-month-long Emergency on India. The Emergency gave her the power to rule by decree. She cancelled elections, curtailed civil liberties, and jailed thousands of journalists and political opponents. Many opposition leaders were forced into exile. And Rahul Gandhi in the year 2023 can be found saying “Democracy is under attack in India.” Standing on the foreign land Rahul Gandhi questions the same democracy which allows I.N.D.I alliance to contest elections.

A cursory look at Rahul Gandhi’s statements at these engagements reveals a design at demeaning and denigrating India and India’s institutions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It also exposes Rahul Gandhi and his party to charges of linkage with known anti-India and anti-Hindu elements operating in foreign lands. And this Anti India linkage raises certain bar of suspicions at him and the model of pathways they may create, if ever came in power.
