Elimination of Global Right-Wing Leaders: A Rising Trend in Political Violence

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, with a strictly conservative set of policies as well as a strong anti-socialist stance, was stabbed in 2018 but survived. Similarly, in the United Kingdom, leading Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage has been threatened and attacked on multiple occasions.

On July 13, 2024, the former American President narrowly escaped an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Thomas Matthew Crooks, the shooter, opened fire on Trump from a rooftop and injured him with his multi-shot fire. A member of the audience was fatally hit before the Secret Service took out Crooks. This event has revived latent arguments about political violence, security measures, and who bears responsibility for these piteous causes.

Blaming the Democratic Party and the Deep State

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump is not an isolated case but rather a further step in a general conspiracy of evil jointly engineered by underground elements within the Democratic Party and the so-called Deep State. The involvement of Crooks, a registered Republican who contributed to a Democratic cause, raises suspicions of a deeper, more insidious plot against conservative leaders. The Democratic Party's language and behaviour over a period of years have fostered an atmosphere of hostility and violence against right-wing figures, providing a climate in which such events might occur.

A Pattern of Attacks on Right-Wing Leaders

The attack on Trump is just another example of an alarming tendency towards violence against conservative global leaders. In recent years, a number of conservative personalities have been attacked, signalling a series of organised attempts to undermine and eliminate all who politically disagree with the left. This trend of violence extends far beyond the borders of America, and right-wing leaders everywhere are facing an increasing threat to their lives.

For example, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, with a strictly conservative set of policies as well as a strong anti-socialist stance, was stabbed in 2018 but survived. Similarly, in the United Kingdom, leading Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage has been threatened and attacked on multiple occasions. This is but one example of the broader strategy being implemented by leftist groups to destabilise conservative leadership everywhere.

Dirty Global Left Politics

The global left has resorted to dirty politics, employing tactics that include promoting LGBTQ agendas, supporting Muslim domination through refugee influxes, and fostering negative liberalism that erodes traditional values and national sovereignty. These actions are part of a coordinated effort to reshape societies and undermine conservative principles.
Representative ImageThe promotion of LGBTQ rights, while ostensibly about equality, has been used to vilify and marginalise those who hold traditional views on family and gender. This agenda is aggressively pushed by leftist governments and organisations, often at the expense of religious and cultural norms that have long been the bedrock of many societies.

Moreover, the left's support for Muslim refugees under the guise of humanitarian aid has resulted in significant demographic shifts, especially in Europe. This influx has often led to cultural clashes, increased crime rates, and the erosion of national identities. The left uses these crises to justify further centralization of power and the erosion of national sovereignty.

The Role of Negative Liberalism

Negative liberalism, characterised by an emphasis on individual freedoms at the expense of collective responsibilities and social cohesion, has been a cornerstone of leftist policies. This ideology promotes a sense of entitlement and victimhood, undermining the principles of hard work, personal responsibility, and patriotism. It creates divisions within societies, pitting different groups against each other and weakening the social fabric.

The Way Forward

Given these threats, it is vital for the right-wing leaders and their followers to be protected from possible attacks. Likewise, the Herculean task of making political rallies and public appearances extra secure to avoid an event like this happening again. Reinforcing an impression of similarities, we have to break the leftist narrative and show what exactly they are trying to do by pushing these policies.

The international community needs to condemn the pattern of violence and threats put into practice by these neo-communist groups so that they will not be able to extinguish free voices on fundamental conservative ethos. It is now time to name and shame these outfits, expose their nefarious designs against the nationhood, and fix them who try to project their militant shape as part of a deeply disturbed idea of political difference being sorted out by strength rather than democracy-language.

Like the botched attempt to kill Donald Trump, this battle for our nations' souls is not yet over. The right wing must remain vigilant against these threats, fighting for policies that protect old-fashioned ideals such as traditionalism, national sovereignty, and the freedom of the individual. That is the only way in which we can protect our democracies and make sure that different political beliefs may rest peacefully next to each other.
